Artist's Comments
Drove down to Margaret River today to finish my Log Books to obtain my full licence (In Aus, after passing a practical driving test, we have to do 25 supervised hours driving before we can drive on our own). On the way back Kelly (my girlfriend) remembered that there were stramatolites (well they were actually strombolites) on Old Coast Road on the back to Perth which her dad had mentioned to her some time ago. We stopped by at a roadhouse and asked if they knew anything about this and they did. A few wrong roads later we finally hit the right one and got there just as the sun was going down. Quickly set up and the rest is history. I live for these moments.
